Adult Autism & ADHD Assessments

Neurodiversity-affirming | Trauma-informed | Designed for adults

Recognizing autism or ADHD in adulthood can be a powerful step toward greater self-understanding, self-compassion, and connection. For many, it brings clarity to lifelong patterns and opens the door to identity exploration, meaningful support, and access to accommodations.

My assessments are thoughtfully designed for adults and grounded in a neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed approach. I understand how experiences of masking and internalized coping can shape how neurodivergence shows up over time particularly in ways that may have gone unseen or misunderstood. I specialize in recognizing these internal presentations of both autism and ADHD with nuance, respect, and care.

Neurodiversity reflects the natural variation in how people think, feel, move, communicate, and relate to the world around them. These differences are meaningful and valid expressions of human experience. There is no single “normal” brain, just many ways of being.

What Does the Assessment Involve?

My approach to adult autism and ADHD assessment is collaborative and person-centered. Throughout the process, I partner with you to hear your unique story and understand your experiences deeply.

The assessment includes:

  • A free 15-minute phone consultation to explore if the assessment is the right step for you

  • Completion of a comprehensive intake form

  • A two-hour clinical interview (via telehealth or in-person)

  • A series of online questionnaires completed by you and, if possible, someone who knows you well

  • Neuropsychological testing, if required

  • A 90-minute feedback session to discuss your results, next steps, and answer your questions

  • A written report provided within 6 weeks of your interview

I recognize that assessment for adult autism and ADHD can be an ongoing journey. Follow-up support is available as needed, including opportunities to connect with the N.E.S.T community groups for women (Nourish. Empathize. Share. Thrive). Through this group, you can access community, socials, newsletters, and ongoing information to support you beyond the assessment itself.
